Recently, HITN donated iPads to the Pomonok Community Center in Flushing, Queens. Part of the Queens Community House (QCH), one of the largest social service organizations in the borough, this center serves the diverse neighborhoods of Queens.

“These iPads are an essential addition to our after-school program at Pomonok Community Center. They offer tremendous educational value for the children who attend five days a week, year-round, including during summer camp. The devices will boost both academic support and creative activities in our after-school sessions,” said Dennis Redmond, Deputy Executive Director at Queens Community House.

Serving over 25,000 individuals annually—children, youth, adults, immigrants, and seniors—QCH is committed to equipping people with the tools they need to enrich their lives and build strong, inclusive communities. With this donation, HITN aims to advance digital equity by providing essential resources and opportunities to Hispanic students.

These devices will empower young students to connect, learn, and excel, regardless of their circumstances. HITN’s contribution underscores its ongoing dedication to promoting inclusion and accessibility in the community.
