HITN attended the annual school supply drive hosted by the Filomeno Foundation in Brooklyn, NY. The Filomeno Foundation provides students with funding, school supplies and academic support needed to succeed in school. Since HITN has a long-standing commitment to support and promote the value of education in the Hispanic community, our president, and CEO Michael D. Nieves, donated to the Filomeno Foundation to continue helping families receive the supplies they need to be successful in school.

This year’s school supply drive collected many much-needed items, such as pens and pencils, notebooks, and even clothing. Mr. Rudy Vargas, Senior Marketing Associate, who represented HITN at the event shared, “The Filomeno Foundation helps bring to life the belief that financial challenges should not prevent our children from thriving in school and meeting their full potential.
