Every year around January 6th, New York’s diverse Hispanic community unites to commemorate the Epiphany through the customary Three Wise Men visitation.
And HITN has upheld its tradition of initiating the new year with a vibrant Three Kings Day Fiesta. This annual gathering has evolved into a cherished moment for friends, families, community leaders, and elected officials to converge at HITN’s studios in the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
The Three Kings celebration at HITN warmly welcomed employees and their families, while also playing host to esteemed guests including NYC Mayor Eric Adams, NY Attorney General Letitia James, and Lieutenant Governor Antonio Delgado, among other dignitaries.
“HITN views Three Kings Day as a joyous occasion for all to embrace. That’s why we open our doors and welcome everyone into our office space, our home, where every day we collaborate to craft top-notch programming in line with our mission to educate and entertain,” said Michael D. Nieves, President and CEO of HITN.
The Three Kings Day holds particular significance for children, and this year’s festivities gave every little guest the chance to meet-and-greet Ray, the mascot from Edye -HITN’s platform for young kids-. Children also played with face painting, in an e-gaming room, and received a gift bag.
The celebration also included something to entertain the adults: a photo booth, live music, and a delectable dinner menu featuring Puerto Rican delicacies like the traditional drink Coquito.
This year’s Three Kings Fiesta garnered a record turnout, and enabled our HITN family to once again connect with the community we proudly serve.
