HITN is proud to announce its donation of iPads to ArchCare’s Mother Cabrini Hospital at Terence Cardinal Cooke Health Care Center in East Harlem.
This initiative aligns with HITN’s mission to provide educational, cultural, and informational resources to Hispanic and Latino communities.
The devices will be distributed in ArchCare at Mother Cabrini Hospital, which specializes in care for children and young adults with complex health needs and helps them reach their highest potential. By providing iPads, HITN aims to build digital equity by offering valuable resources and opportunities to their communities.
“We’d like to thank HITN for this most generous donation to the children of Specialty Hospital at TCC/ArchCare. The iPads will provide much appreciated additional stimulation for the children. We hope to utilize them with our Board of Education partners as well as our therapeutic and recreation staff”, said Dr. Vicky-Jo Deutsch, Medical Director Specialty Hospital.
Providing these devices to every young patient and their families allows them to connect, learn, and thrive, regardless of their circumstances. This donation underscores HITN’s ongoing commitment to fostering inclusion and accessibility within the community.
