HITN, in collaboration with Charter Communications, hosted a Vida y Salud Health Fair at the Hollister Downtown Farmers Market, enhancing the event with a focus on health and wellness during the celebrations for Hispanic Heritage Month.

A brief program took place at the Veterans Plaza, where HITN presented a $1,000 check to a local school in support of educational initiatives. Local leaders in attendance included Hollister Mayor Mia Casey, San Benito County Supervisor Mindy Sotelo, and Hollister Fire Marshal Charlie Bedolla.

The health fair featured a range of community organizations offering resources and services aimed at increasing health awareness. Among the participating groups were the California Nurses Association, San Benito Food Bank, Cypress Memorial Insurance Services, Cal-Fresh, Central California Alliance for Health, Gavilan College Student Health Services, Suicide Prevention Service of the Central Coast, and Youth Recovery Connections.

The event provided an opportunity for HITN and Charter, alongside other participating organizations, to build partnerships with key local contacts and foster positive engagement with city, state, and federal officials. It also underscored the companies’ ongoing commitment to serving diverse communities and promoting health and wellness.

This initiative aligns with HITN’s broader mission to support Hispanic communities across the U.S. through access to educational and health-related resources.
