Tú Cuentas Cine Youth Fest (TCCYF) co-director, Cynthia Rivera, was a guest on the most recent episode of the television program Tiempo, hosted by Joe Torres for the local abc7 station.
Tiempo is abc7’s segment focused on New York’s Hispanic community. Drawing on his journalistic experience, Torres addresses topics such as education, healthcare, and immigration. Tiempo also features “Latino legends and pioneers to highlight their latest artistic endeavors, whether it’s a new exhibition, an award-winning documentary, or a cultural celebration.”
During the segment dedicated to TCCYF, Rivera spoke about its origins, noting that it is on its fourth edition and is still accepting film submissions for this year.
