A group of New York State lawmakers, led by Assemblymember Maritza Davila, recently toured HITN’s studios at the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
The delegation included State Senators Julia Salazar and Jabari Brisport, as well as Assemblymember Jo Anne Simon. The purpose of the visit was to learn more about HITN’s role in community education and its mission beyond television broadcasting.
The tour included discussions with HITN’s President and CEO, Michael D. Nieves, and members of the network’s management team, focusing on HITN’s ongoing educational, science, and wellness initiatives.
