The Largest Latino Gala in the Country to Welcome President Obama and Secretary Clinton on the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute’s 39th Annual Public Policy Conference and Awards Gala
Brooklyn, NY – HITN-TV, the television network that offers educational programing that also entertains Hispanic audiences across the United States, will present the 39thAnnual Public Policy Conference and Awards Gala of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI). The event, which is the largest Hispanic gala in the county, will welcome President Barack Obama and Secretary Hillary Clinton as its special guests.
CHCI’s Annual Awards Gala is the signature event in its Hispanic Heritage Month list of events. The gala will also present CHCI’s highest honors – The CHCI Medallion of Excellence award – to recognize the outstanding accomplishments of two Latino leaders who have kept the promise to their communities through their extraordinary efforts:
Cheech Marin – Medallion of Excellence in the Arts, Entertainment
Anna Maria Chavez – American Dream Medallion of Excellence in Education
HITN will air re-caps of the CHCI 2016 Public Policy Conference coverage during primetime programming starting on Tuesday, September 13th through Thursday, September 15th. To conclude the coverage of the event HITN will air a one-hour special of CHCI Public Conference on Sunday, September 18th at 8pm / ET with an encore airing at 11pm / ET.
