In response to an initiative by the Consulate General of Mexico in New York, a delegation of entrepreneurs and government officials from the state of Puebla, Mexico, toured the facilities of HITN at the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
With a keen interest in forging potential collaborations, the Puebla delegation was composed of J. Ermilo Barrera N., the Secretary of Economy for the Government of Puebla, as well as representatives from the state’s chambers of commerce and construction industry.
Michael D. Nieves, President and CEO of HITN, provided the delegation with insights, emphasizing that the television network operates as a non-profit entity, collaborating with agencies and organizations that serve the interests of the Hispanic audience in the United States.
During the meeting, both parties showcased their accomplishments and outreach, while also examining the current situation in New York City, home to a significant population of Mexican migrants, the majority hailing from the state of Puebla. This demographic connection could potentially pave the way for joint projects and initiatives.
