HITN donated 35 iPads to PS 290 A.C.E. Academy for Scholars at the Geraldine Ferraro Campus.

This donation will equip an entire third-grade classroom with cutting-edge technology, empowering young learners, especially English Language Learners (ELL), to reach new heights in their education.

These iPads will serve as powerful tools for teachers and students alike, offering a range of benefits:

PS 290 Principal Matt Brownstein expressed gratitude for the donation, stating, “We’re thrilled to see how these iPads will benefit our students, especially our ELLs. Ms. Matos, our dedicated third-grade teacher, is eager to leverage this technology to extend learning beyond the classroom and support our students’ language development.”

Cinthia Matos-Santiago, the third-grade teacher, shared her enthusiasm for the immediate impact of the iPads, noting, “These devices have been invaluable in supporting our students who are still developing their reading skills. We’re excited to share this technology with other grade levels as well.”
