In collaboration with NY Assembly Member Kenny Burgos, HITN hosted another of its signature ‘Vida Y Salud’ health fairs on Saturday, September 9th at Hunts Point in The Bronx.
This health fair, organized to benefit the Hispanic community was made possible thanks to the generous support and sponsorship from NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln, Optimum, Hunts Point Community Partnership, EmblemHealth, and took place at The Banknote esplanade in the Bronx.
Michael D. Nieves, President and CEO of HITN, expressed his delight at the collaboration with Mr. Burgos and the other sponsors. According to Nieves, this event provided essential healthcare resources and a joyful environment for the community. HITN also extended its gratitude to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln and The Banknote for their valuable support in making the event possible.
The event brought together a diverse array of organizations and community groups. Attendees had the chance to interact with several healthcare providers and organizations, gaining valuable insights and access to resources. The Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs, importantly, provided some guidance for those in need. HITN coordinated the logistics, allowing participants to showcase their important work and ensuring an interactive and informative experience for everyone.
In addition to health-related services, the Vida Y Salud health fair offered exciting activities for individuals and families. Attendees also had the opportunity to win exciting prizes through raffles, contributing to the festive atmosphere.
